An Infectious Diseases and Hospitalist who completed his residency and fellowship in Trihealth Cincinnati, Ohio and University of Louisville School of Medicine respectively, He is double certified by the American board of internal medicina in Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine, who now serves as an attending physician for University of Tennessee Medical Center. Dr. Vasquez Garagatti started at Saint Joseph CHI in 2014 as an Attending Physician and Chairman of Infection Control, he helped to developed and improve many quality metrics in Hospital Medicine and Infection Diseases (Sepsis and Antimicrobial Stewardship Program). He also is affiliated to many medical institution in the state of Tennessee and Kentucky. At the end of 2017, he joined to University of Tennessee Medical Center where he is currently responsible for patient care with the Hospitalist Services and the Infectious Disease department. He has received a guardian angel award by UTMCK for his excellence in patient care. Dr. Vasquez has many interests in several areas of medicine regarding quality improvement and also has a strong interest in technology to improved physical fitness and endurance. Dr. Vasquez- Garagatti is certified by ABIM. He also has a strong interest in Fitness technology in healthcare, he is an active athlete in martial arts and amateur musician.
