Kim is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator. In her role as Lead Dietitian, she is responsible for managing Fruit Street’s Diabetes Prevention Program and team of Registered Dietitian Lifestyle Coaches. Kim is a strong proponent of preventative health care and the use of technology to improve access to care, and loves being able to pursue both interests with her work at Fruit Street. Kim joined Fruit Street with considerable clinical nutrition and nutrition management experience, having held various inpatient and outpatient positions at both NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Columbia Medical Center and Weill Cornell Medical Center. Kim has a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences from Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Public Health, with a concentration in Health Policy and Management, from Hunter College at the City University of New York. She completed her Dietetic Internship at Massachusetts General Hospital. A firm believer in balance as part of a healthy lifestyle, in her free time Kim is both an avid traveler and enthusiastic bookworm.
