completed his training in general surgery at Loyola University Medical Center and then received his training in colon and rectal surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. He then returned to Loyola and has been in practice there since 2008. He has developed a large clinical practice and has been instrumental in research and education of surgical residents. He also helped develop and implement a multidisciplinary clinic for those with inherited colorectal cancer. Outside of medicine his interests are exercise, fishing, and reading.
