Heather holds a Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences from the
University of Rhode Island, is a Registered Dietitian and holds state licenses in
both Rhode Island and Hawaii. Her primary areas of expertise include Corporate
Wellness, Health Education, Disease Prevention and Weight Management and
Mediterranean Meal Planning. She has worked in wellness centers, hospitals, and
in a variety of fitness settings including the Naval Base in Pearl Harbor, HI.
In addition to being a dedicated healthcare professional, Heather is a veteran
fitness professional and holds certifications in Group Exercise and Personal
Training. She is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher and recently earned the title
of Certified Mindful and Intuitive Eating Practitioner. Growing up as an obese
child, Heather is extremely passionate about using her life experiences to highlight
the positive aspects of movement and nourishment to motivate others to craft
lifestyle choices that support their well-being. Her goal is to guide students/clients
toward self-care practices so they can feel strong in body and mind.
