Dr. Chakri Yarlagadda is a physician, educator, researcher and medical author. He is assistant professor of internal medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University. He practiced invasive cardiology for 15 years as partner of Ohio Heart Institute in Youngstown. He joined Mercy Health cardiology few years ago and since then practicing clinical and preventive cardiology. He also trained in Acupuncture from Harvard and completed a fellowship in integrative medicine from University of Arizona and planning to transform his practice to integrative cardiology. He served as director of Echo lab, vice president of Ohio Heart Institute, director of non-invasive cardiology, radiation safety officer, and director of cardiac rehabilitation services at area hospitals in Youngstown, Ohio. He is the principle investigator and co-investigator of several national and international clinical trials. He has authored cardiology chapters in online journal by Medscape. He is also recipient of several awards.
